A Letter To You...?

I Think of You Day and Night,

The Way You Touched Me and Held Me so Tight.

I Think of You when We Walk in The Sun,

Then Running from The Rain Like a Race We have Won.

The Smile on Your Face Your Eyes are so Bright,

As You Disappear and Go from My Sight.

I See Your Face with A Smile and A Grin,

Your Beautiful Cheeks and The Shape of Your Chin.

Your Hair now Flowing and Shining in The Sun,

You are Standing There in Your Lovely White Dress,

Where Our Journey Once Begun.

But as I focus My Eyes to Look at You,

You Slowly Walk off and go from My View.

I Smell The Flowers I Once Gave to You,

I Will Cherish Your Look Wishing Time Would Stay Still.

Your Smell of Sweet Perfume Caressing The Air,

But as I Look once again You are not There.

The Clock Starts to Tick on The Wall Once More,

You Become Very Distant as You Stand by The Door.

I Hear You Singing My Favourite Song,

Even though The Words are Totally Wrong.

You Laugh at Me while Singing this Tune,

You get even Louder, Please End it Soon.

Your Voice I Hear Just Talking to Me,

So Soft and Gentle Like The Calming of The Sea.

You Say These Words As I Drift Away,

I Love You Darling Come What May.

As I Sit Here Writing this Letter To You,

Our Ship Sets Sail to Pastures New.

Not Knowing what I Am Going to Expect,

Though I Have Been Told, You’ve Seen Nothing Yet!!

As I Finish Writing My Letter For You,

A Poem Evolves about Us Two.

So I Hope One Day this Will get to You,

About Our Time Together and What We Went Through.

I Love You Darling With All My Heart,

I Never Wanted To Be Apart xx.
