This is a poem about a Man

This is a Poem about a Man,

Who made Me The Person that I Am.

He Taught Me Manners and Respect,

How Much this Man had an Effect.

He Gave Me Strength when I Needed it,

As I Went through Life Bit by Bit.

This is The Man that I Looked Up To,

You are in My Heart I Miss You.

With a Voice Like Frank,

You would Hear Him Singing His Songs.

He always showed His Emotions,

Even when Things were Going Wrong.

This Man was Full of Life, Love and Laughter,

Like His Idol Mr Sinatra.

With His Loving Wife by His Side,

He had that Happy Ever After.

As a Child it was Hard for Him,

Born in London Islington.

Without a Mother to Love and a Father who was Tough,

Life for Him became Quite Rough.

With a Sister and a Brother He had to Grow Up Quick,

Learning Adult things while Still a Kid.

But Slowly and Surely He Grew into a Man,

And that’s when He Decided to Start Making Plans.

This is a Poem about My Dad,

But by Now You All Know That.

Now a Family Man,

Protecting His Kids as Best He Can.

Always Smart with a Shirt and Tie,

50 Years with His Wife Still by His Side.

This a Poem about My Father,

And This is My Way of Saying to You.

Happy Father’s Day

I MISS YOU x
