LIFE'S A BEACH!!!

There is a clear blue sky on a Summers Day

There is a Clear Blue Sky on a Summers Day,

And The Sun Shines Down on Sandown Bay.

People are Walking Hand in Hand,

Laughing and Joking, Whilst Treading the Sand,

The Sea is Busy The Waves Roll In,

A Gentle Breeze Blowing and Cooling Your Skin.

Children are Swimming Kicking and Screaming,

Dogs Paddling in The Sea.

Not Forgetting Nan and Grandad Wading Up to Their Knobbly Knees.

Mums and Dads are on The Beach Rubbing in The Cream,

Before they Settle Down on Their Beds to Sleep and to Dream.

Further Down The Beach The Boys are Trying to be Cool,

Hoping to Get Noticed by The Girl that’s Playing Ball.

Looking Up I See Kites Flying High,

Twisting and Turning and Painting The Sky.

Then The Breeze Stops Blowing and The Wind Dies Down,

As One by One Come Crashing to The Ground.

Sandcastles being Built by Kids, they are Happy and Feeling Proud,

Some have Flags….and oops Dad’s Foot goes In,

And now The Kids are Crying out Loud.

Like a Blank Canvas that is The Sand,

Words and Pictures Get Carved by Hand.

Some Reading Syd 4 Marg, others Striving to Make a Work of Art.

Dad being Buried Up to His Neck in The Golden Sand,

While Mum is Laughing with The Camera Ready,

Taking Pictures of Her Man.

Balls being Thrown and Kicked, Frisbees Taking to The Air,

A Kid is Shouting, He’s been Bowled Out and Screaming,

“It’s Not Fair”.

Mum Lets in Another Goal while Playing with Her Hair,

And All Dad can do is Watch and Look with that Famous Stare.

A Beach Ball goes Flying by as The Wind Picks up Again,

Who’s is it no one knows as a Man Runs Past in Vain.

Seagulls Circling in The Sky Searching for Some Food,

Then Diving Down finding Fish and Chips,

Left by Some Silly Fool.

This is Such a Special Place it’s Like Another World,

Many Memories to be Made, whether You are Young or You are Old.

There are Many Things to See and Lots of Things to Do,

Like Playing Games on The Pier or Just Looking at All The Views.

But The Day is Nearly over as Families Begin to Go,

The Sea is Getting Calmer and The Sun is Losing its Glow.

The Cliffs are Looking Whiter as The Shadows Disappear,

The Sky is Getting Dusky as The Moon Gets Ever Near.

Life’s A Beach!!! Everything Can Happen Here,

People Fall in Love, Others Shed a Tear.

So Treasure Our Beaches and Enjoy what You See,

As Everything is Precious, Spending Time as a Family.
