TRAIN OF THOUGHT...

As I Sit Here On The Train,
Observing People Once Again.
Thoughts About What Is In Their Heads,
About Their Lives and What’s Been Said.
Like The Man Sitting Opposite Me,
Tapping His Hand On His Left Knee.
Looking Smart With His Clean Shirt and Tie,
As He Gazes Through The Window,
Watching The World Go By.
But What Is He Thinking?
As He Takes In The View,
Is He Attending A Job Interview.
Mumbling Words Under His Breathe,
Maybe For Questions,
That May Get Said.
As I Look Across The Other Side,
A Woman Is Smiling and Happy Inside.
Moving Her Feet Like A Beat Of A Drum,
Wearing A Hat With Her Headphones On.
Now….What Is She Thinking?
Still Smiling Away,
Has She Found Love,
That Is Making Her Day.
Her Eyes Her Look Just Say It For Me,
As She Steps Off The Train,
To Her Destiny.
As More People Board The Train,
A Young Man Enters Into The Frame.
Standing and Leaning Against A Pole,
Hood Up Head Down,
As The Train Begins To Roll.
Now What Is Doing On His Phone,
Is He Texting To Say,
I’m On My Way Home.
Or Just Browsing At Some Random Shit,
Or Even My Poems…..I Doubt It.
So Many People All On One Train,
You Can’t Help But Think,
What’s Goes On In Their Brain.
Like What Shall I Do For Tea Tonight,
Or That Woman Has A Hole In Her Tights.
Must Book That Table,
At Our Favourite Restaurant,
Ask Gary and Lisa To Come If They Want.
Now It Is Time For Me To Go,
My Stop Is Coming As It Begins To Slow.
My Train Of Thought Has Now Come To An End,
Until I Board This Train Once Again.
